Seton Students to Give Valentine’s Gifts to Families In Need
(Binghamton, NY) Seton Catholic Central students have been collecting personal care products throughout February for distribution on St. Valentine’s Day to area families who are facing financial difficulty. The students have filled and decorated 50 boxes for distribution by Catholic Charities.
Catholic Charities will be picking the gift boxes up at Seton Catholic Central on Monday, February 13 @ 10:00 a.m. The gift boxes will be given to families in need enabling parents to have a gift for their child on Valentine’s Day.
“Our students felt St. Valentine’s Day was an opportunity to demonstrate friendship, and support for their peers,” said Richard Bucci, President, Catholic Schools of Broome County.
